Brian Quinlan has born in raised in Vancouver (currently rated as The Economist's "most livable city" - in your face Sydney with your perfect beaches and fantastic climate.) He has made several unimportant contributions to the Python community such as SimpleXMLRPCServer, UTF-7 support and working I/O in Python 3.1. Since 2007 he has worked as a Software Engineer at Google and currently works in Google's Sydney office on the App Engine team.
